For 5 days, I was totally engrossed into this amazing book. A 585 pages FEARLESS by Francine Pascal. Loved it! I loved it that I really want my other friends to read it as well. :)
This book,well.....blew my mind away. Figuratively. Heh! You've read Harry Potter, the Twilight Saga, Meg Cabot's, John Grisham, Ramlee Awang Murshid, etc., but this, this FEARLESS novel was nothing short of the same (or should I say it was more?) suspense and magical. And when I say magic people, I mean MAGIC.
Gaia Moore was fearless. God gave her brain like a genius (that's what I would call people who can REALLY play chess and scored in PHYSICS!), and beauty like no one else, and charm, and grace and some badass physical strength (taekwondo, boxing, ninjutsu. You name it!). But then, God hold her fear gene. Gaia didn't what fear is. She didn't know how to be fear to anything. And that's why she had never missed even 1 second of her life without pulling TROUBLE and DANGER right up to her nose. I guess then, her life is not boring, right?
Gaia loves Sam. Eventhough he's unavailable. Sam loves Gaia. Eventhough he had a cheerleader-type girlfriend. But that doesn't stop Gaia from endangering herself to save him for the bad guys. Nope. Nothing can stop her. Not even her CIA agent father. You see here. It's not really supernatural thing that enveloped Gaia's life. She's been trained from her infancy to be stronger than any other men, to survive on her own. And she did.
Comes the reason why there were people hunting her down for her extraordinary skills.
You've got to read this book, If you wanted to experience some awesome moments when a 17 years old girl kick some butt.
